ParaDYM Academy is our after-school and extended day program made up of hands- on, interactive, interconnected media programs called, Co-Ops. Co-Ops are designed to empowering at-risk and marginalized youth through transmedia production and media literacy. Our Co-Ops are hands-on, therefore students learn by working on media projects for local nonprofits in need of media production.
ParaDYM Academy
Since 2008, ParaDYM Academy has provided after-school and out-of-school instruction in video production, digital music production, and game design for nearly 2000 marginalized youth throughout Central Connecticut.

Join Our Productions
Casting anchors and segment reporters for "Young, Gifted and FAQs," a monthly documentary news web series where teens and young adults address social trends and issues thorough pop culture. Saturday July 13th from noon to 4pm at our 600 East St. New Britain, CT 06051
What we are looking for
We are looking for actors, reporters and anchors who are:

Youth aged 13 to 18

Live in Central Connecticut

Previous acting experience not required

Must be able to commit to 10 shoots between August 2019 and April 2020
